I’m Ute Niebrügge, the founder and heart behind Ocean Painters. For many years, I built my life and career around creativity, design, and the love for natural beauty.

I started my professional journey as the creative mind behind the company Nakara carpets, a line of high-quality, hand-crafted carpets made from natural materials. Over the years, I sold the carpets internationally and worked with clients around the world. My work allowed me to build something meaningful — but most of all, it taught me how powerful authentic craftsmanship can be.

Today, I’ve returned to my passion: painting by the sea. Ocean Painters is my way of sharing this joy with others. I believe that art is not about perfection — it’s about freedom, emotion, and the simple beauty of the moment.

When I paint, I listen to the waves, breathe in the salty air, and let the colors flow. I invite others to join me — to slow down, to connect, and to take their own moment at the sea, forever on canvas.
